Personal Growth

Personal growth is often a by-product of the therapy work that I do. It is inevitable, through our work,  that you will know yourself more, understand why and where your patterns come from, have more compassion for yourself and have the ability to adjust your patterns in a way that better fits your new awareness.

Occasionally someone comes to my office wanting to work on Personal Growth per se, meaning that there isn’t a single symptom that acted as a catalyst (though when we explore it further, there is always a catalyst- often a change or a loss of some sort). What I find is that it is that individual that is already half way there. What I mean by that, is that if you are already in a conscious state of introspection (looking inside), wanting to grow and become a better version of yourself then you are already:

1. Taking responsibility for your life experience
2. Motivated to create change
3. Willing to look inside with curiosity and compassion

Some might say that you have broken out of the bubble of ‘this is the way things are’, and are now able to look at your life objectively, and mindfully. Awesome!

Our Personal Growth work will include:

  1. Exploring some of the current reasons (these are important catalysts-what is it about this time/circumstances in your life that are bringing this on?) for your readiness
  2. Releasing any blocks that have previously inhibited your real ‘you-ness’ (these are often beliefs about not being ‘enough’ in some way, not deserving good things, or fears of failure, disappointment, or not being accepted)
  3. Uncovering your Strengths, Uniqueness, and Purpose
  4. Teaching you many tools to help you in the process of Personal Growth.

Recommended length of therapy: 4-8 sessions

Fee $140 per hour
